She {hearts} Curious Georgia

There are so many wonderful places to purchase children’s clothing nowadays. But every once in a while I’m introduced to a new designer of unique, handmade items and I’m truly impressed by the quality and the way the pieces look custom-made for my family.

Heather, of Curious Georgia is one of those designers.

What I love about her work is that it is designed with busy moms and their curious kids in mind. Her pieces are made with pre-washed designer fabrics and feature elastic waistbands so that little ones can dress themselves.

Curious Georgia offers adorable skirts, dresses and  so much more- even ties for little boys and outfits for your child’s favorite doll. Heather specializes in custom orders and loves to personalize pieces just for you.

She{hearts}Stefeny Stanyer Jewelry

I have a sense of whimsy about jewelry. While my mommy wardrobe consists mainly of comfortable, neutral classics, my accessories reflect my creative side. If you’re like me, you’re automatically drawn to vintage items and pieces with an air of romance.

When I first visited Stefeny Stanyer’s Etsy Shop I felt like I’d stumbled upon an intimate boutique designed just for me. Stefeny’s style is vintage, unique, and inspired by the natural world. In a word, her work is magical.

Her lockets are truly special. You can imagine finding one tucked away in your Great-Aunt’s jewelry box, a black and white photo of her long lost love inside it. These are pieces that tell stories.

I adore this one (but of course I’m partial to Little Birds).

Stefeny’s shop also features beautiful earringsbracelets, and charm pendants. She does custom orders and your items will arrive beautifully wrapped and ready for gift-giving.

She{hearts}Nostalgic Graphic Tees

I have a long-standing obsession with silhouettes. There is something so vintage…so absolutely charming about seeing the outline of a chubby baby face in a silhouette. They truly capture the essence of childhood.

So when I saw Elizabeth Horton Design’s Etsy Shop, Nostalgic Graphic Tees, I swooned.

I SWOONED, you guys. These designs capture “good, old fashioned childhood.” What little boy wouldn’t look adorable in this?

There are so many cute designs to choose from. I loved the Petite Photographer, and so does my little girl.

I’m already planning to purchase shirts for my boys as well…wouldn’t they be great for a family photo? I think yes.

What’s your favorite?

Nostalgic Graphic Tees range in price from $22 for long-sleeve and $20 for short sleeve. You can find Nostalgic Graphic Tees on Facebook and Twitter.

She {hearts} Camp Honeybelle

Etsy has changed my life. Not to sound dramatic about a website but it has transformed the way I approach shopping for jewelry, children’s items, and personalized gifts. When one of my favorite bloggers started her own Etsy shop I added Camp Honeybelle to my list of must-visit Etsy shops.

Nina, or RetroNina as she’s called on Etsy, has taken her love for all things kitchy and vintage and created an adorable space on Etsy called Camp Honeybelle. The name itself has a sweet vintage feel, too! She’s super clever like that.

Is anyone else feeling campy? Let’s take a look!

I love these vintage state patches. Wouldn’t these be fun framed in a collage?

And speaking of fun, check out this brooch. Meow!

This shop is full of quirky vintage fun. You won’t be sorry you made the trip to Camp Honeybelle!

She {hearts} Lullabies for Sweet Dreams

In my home, there is almost always music playing. I like to expose my children to a variety of music starting when they’re very young so that they’ll appreciate the many ways music can affect our mood, express feelings, and simply add beauty to our lives.

One of the best ways to do this is to create a bedtime routine around soothing melodies. I recently had the opportunity to share a new compilation of piano and violin music with my children with Across the Meadow‘s CD Lullabies for Sweet Dreams.

We’ve been hooked ever since.

You don’t have to be a classical music fan to appreciate these beautiful songs. There are familiar melodies such as “All Through the Night,” and others which I wouldn’t have considered lullabies before this compilation but am so glad they were included.

This CD would be the perfect gift for a new mom or for a baby shower. The CD cover art is so sweet and would compliment any nursery!

My favorites songs on the Lullabies for Sweet Dreams collection are “The Swan” and “Song of the Moon.”

And best of all, my children are all fans now, too.

Visit Across the Meadow to hear some of the beautiful and soothing songs on Lullabies for Sweet Dreams and to find out where the CD can be purchased.

She {hearts} Sweaty Bands

1Hey She {hearts} It readers! I’m Mary Lauren and I’m so excited to have joined the great group of ladies here at She {hearts} It.

I’m also really excited to be telling you all about a great product for summer.

As a stay at home mom of three, I have to admit that I don’t spend a lot of time thinking about my hair. In the past I’ve always just pulled it back into a pony tail, but when I recently got it cut to a short bob, that was no longer an option.

A reader on my personal blog told me about Sweaty Bands. I am so glad she did.

I must say I wasn’t disappointed! I tried both the thick and thin bands. I found the thicker bands worked best for my hair, due to bangs and thicker hair.

I’ll definitely be packing my sweaty bands during my next beach trip and can’t wait to break them in at a race later this summer.

{heart} It

Sweaty Bands come in hundreds of colors and patterns and are lined with a material that absorbs sweat during workouts. Another plus: they don’t hurt my head like elastic headbands and can transition from the gym to running errands or lunch without that “gym hair” look.

She {hearts} Freebies

We get to giveaway a thin Sweaty Band to one of our readers.
