She {hearts} Splendies

logoOne thing that I normally spend money on is high quality underwear. You wear them all day long so you want to be comfortable. I was sent three pairs of organic undies to try out. They were all silky smooth and really adorable! I was surprised the shipping was so quick. I was excited to open up the package and see which ones I received. All three pairs did fit me. My favorites were both of the polka dots ones. Very cute.

She {hearts} Crock Pot Creamy Ranch Chicken

I have really been looking for some new recipes for the Summer. Especially since it has been so hot, it is nice to use the crock pot instead of heating up the house even more by using the oven. I cooked this last week and we have already had it again. My husband Kenny really likes it and says it is even better the next day.

Crock Pot Creamy Ranch Chicken

Crock Pot Creamy Ranch Chicken

  • 3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (10.75 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (1 oz) envelope ranch dressing mix dry
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can chicken broth
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (optional for sprinkling on top)
  • Egg Noodles
  1. Spray slow cooker with cooking spray or line with a slow cooker liner.
  2. Place chicken breasts inside slow cooker.
  3. In a small bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, chicken broth and dry ranch dressing mix. Pour evenly over chicken breasts.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 3-4 hours or until done.
  5. Remove chicken and stir in milk and cream cheese until smooth and melted into sauce.
  6. Shred the chicken then put it back in to the slow cooker and make sure to cover with sauce.
  7. Serve over hot cooked egg noodles and pour on some extra sauce.
  8. If desired, crumble some cooked bacon over top.

She {hearts} Grilled Potatoes

It is becoming that time of year to break out the grill and enjoy some yummy food. The weather is turning warm, so it is time to hang outside with friends and family around the grill. My husband Kenny created this grilled potatoes recipe and it is delicious!!

3-5 Large Potatoes

1 Stick of Butter (melted)

Garlic Powder

Black Pepper

Wash your potatoes. Then cut them into about 1/2 inch thick slices.

Boil the potatoes for 10-15 minutes on the stove.

Drain the potatoes and gather your ingredients.

Brush each side with the melted butter and sprinkle with the seasonings.

Cooking times vary depending on how hot your grill is and how thick your potatoes are. Kenny cooks low and slow over charcoal so they took about 30 minutes.

Enjoy! These are so SCRUMPTIOUS!

She {hearts} Easy Peach Cobbler

This is my easy go to dessert when someone ask me to bring something. Very easy to make and everyone usually loves it!

3 Large Cans of Peaches

1 box of Pillsbury Yellow Cake Mix

1 stick of butter

Preheat the oven to 350. Drain cans of peaches and pour in 9×13 baking pan. I cut the peaches so they will be a little smaller. Then sprinkle the dry cake mix on top of the peaches. Next melt the stick of butter and drizzle over the cake mix and peaches. Cook it for 30-45 minutes depending how crispy you want the top.

She {hearts} Teacher Gifts

I found this on Pinterest and thought it was such an adorable idea. I made some for Dustyn’s Preschool Teachers. I put a little drawing from Dustyn and a note from me in the cup along with the little packets to add to water. They really loved them. If you go here they have where you can print the little flags.
