She {hearts} Sammy Dress

Many months ago I was introduced to a company called Sammy Dress. Some of you may have seen this company advertised on facebook. I know I have seen it there a few times. This website is packed full of fashion items for less. When I looked at the website I found myself stuck there for quiet some time. The variety of items offered was huge.

pursesI loved all their tunic tops, summer dresses and fun accessories. A great selection of purses and clutches.

Their prices are probably some of the most affordable prices I have seen for online shops such as this.

This website does allow returns as well. The sizing charts they offer are pretty true to size… but if you do get an item that does not fit or you do not like, you can ship it back for exchange or refund. They just ask you cover shipping.

For fun I thought I would list out some favorite items I found on the site. Just click the links and it will open them up unto a new window.

Loved this Newspaper inspired Tote. Would make a great over night bag!

Bow Knot Head Band, would be fun for working out, or casual day with a bad hair day.

Huge Make up Brush Set

Another Brush Set (I love make up brushes, always nice to have back ups too, while other ones are being cleaned)

Summer Dress – so cute!

Casual Swoop Top – stripes. I love tops like this.

A Purse organizer! Im so getting one of these!!

As you can see, lots to choose from. They often run lots of specials too. Items as high as 70% off.

She {hearts} LoveSac

At the end of the day, do your feet ache? I can attest that as a Mom of four little ones, I’m on my feet most of the day. Whether its making beds, doing laundry, cooking dinner, or playing with the kids, I rarely have shoes on and am constantly on the go. Its no wonder that by the end of the day my feet are sore!

So, when LoveSac contacted me about reviewing their slippers, I was game! I was intrigued as I read the description on their website: “Slippers Phur Feet…what a concept. As with anything made by LoveSac, these are simply the greatest slippers available…maybe in all the world. LoveSac Phur is a hypo allergenic polyster knit that is surprisingly durable.” I couldn’t wait to receive my new slippers and even loved the packaging that they were shipped in!

{heart} It

IMG_6711 Not only are their products shipped adorably, but they are also very well made. I immediately put the slippers on and have been wearing them ever since. They are super comfortable, and I love the nonstick rubber bottoms too. These durable bottoms have come in handy when I’ve forgotten to take them off before going outside to play with the kids :)

(The LoveSac Phur slippers normally cost $59, but they are currently on sale for $39!)

If you are in the market for other comfy stuff, like pillows, throws, chairs, blankets, or sacs (like XL beanbag type chairs) make sure to browse around their website.  They also manufacture sactionals, which are modular pieces of furniture that can be configured in any arrangement that  you need! Truly LoveSac is a company that has something for everyone who is looking for comfort and durability!

She {hearts} Nada

Being a yoga instructor, I have known the importance of foot and posture health for many years. I know that being barefoot is best, but unfortunately we can’t be on a yoga mat all the time. I have been interested in minimalist shoes for awhile, but I didn’t know you could have fashion coincide with this concept. Walking around looking like I was wearing gloves on my feet wasn’t gonna happen.

Nada offers two minimalist style Somnio shoes, one for running and other forms of fitness, and a ballet style, more for everyday.

The ballet flat has been my go-to shoe. They’re so comfy!  These shoes have no break-in time. They felt amazing from day one. I was a bit apprehensive about the strap, being the fashionista I can be, but it’s awesome. I have actually grown to appreciate it. I can even play soccer with my kiddos in them. I couldn’t kick a ball in  my old flats without being afraid they’d fly off!

Also, the ballet style is great for those of you who do any barefoot type fitness at a gym (yoga, Pilates, etc.). I know most of my students will wear flip-flops, easy on/off, but the gyms that I’ve taught at have a closed-toe shoe policy (which they seem to overlook for these members), but in my opinion it’s a good policy to follow. Often times you’re walking through areas where people are training with weights and equipment and it’s always good to wear real shoes in these areas. This shoe is perfect. Easy on/off, and it looks great with yoga wear–very sporty!

While I’m not an avid runner I do run outside some, but I do more indoor cardio, like dancing, kick-boxing and circuit-training. The lace-up shoes by Nada were great for all that I alternate  between. Minimal break-in time, I noticed a little rubbing on one of my feet the first couple times, but it went away and I’ve had no problem at all. I did wear thin socks with them–I don’t  think they’re meant to be worn with socks, but it just felt more comfortable to wear socks with sneakers.

When you order from Nada you not only get a great minimalist shoe, but with every pair you receive a very well-made foot strengthening DVD program. This DVD has some great stretches and foot strengthening moves to get you on the road to optimal foot health.

She {hearts} Nomad Footwear

With rainy days entering the horizon here in Georgia… I was in search of a perfect solution for my soggy hem jean situation :) – a result of 1) being to short, but 2) having pants that were to long. While a good heel can fix this for me, or hem… I don’t always have the time, money or energy to do either. So the idea of a trendy, fun, and function-able rain boot was my answer.

DSC_3721Nomad Footwear fixed my soggy jean situation :) & also made for a unique fashion statement. I loved the wide variety of colors and designs they had to offer, as well as their affordable prices.

I wore these one day while in Memphis on business… on a rainy day, out and about with 40 plus photographers & not once did my feet hurt. While the boot felt a tad heavy at times, its comfort was perfect. I was able to walk the streets of Beale Street and beyond without one drop on my jeans.

Nomad Footwear not only offers these fun rainboots, but also flats, heels, wedges, as well as children’s shoes. Prices starting as low as $12 on some styles. So if you are in the market for a fun boot, that keeps your feet dry while out on a damp day… check out the great collection at Nomad Footwear.

She {hearts} Nomadic State of Mind Rope Sandals

005 Rope sandals, have you heard of them? Jesus sandals is what I call them and I absolutely love them. I found these babies *points to the photo to the left* over at Nomadic State of Mind. I bought a pair for Jayden and the folks at Nomadic State of Mind were kind enough to send a pair for me too! Jayden got the Kids JC in camel and I chose the Mountain Momma style in camel. They are so cool, comfy too. They definitely turn heads. Jayden gets compliments whenever he wears his and well, if I had my feet in everybody’s face, I’m sure I’d get them too!

Nomadic State of Mind’s sandals are made entirely out of rope! They make styles with and without soles. The styles that Jayden and I have are without soles. They are fine on rougher terrain, but on tile or wood flooring, things get a little slippery. I’m going to see about getting some sole stickers to put on the bottoms so that we can wear them more often. We’ve washed our sandals once and they held up great in the washer. I just love our rope sandals. I feel so cool while sportin’ ‘em together, like modern-day mommy and son nomads :).

We are not responsible if you begin your planet travel once you put our sandals on. – Nomadic State of Mind

They are usually groomed and painted, eh ignore. They’re in their nomadic state ;).

You can get your very own pair of “Jesus Sandals” at Kids styles range from $13 (on sale)-$19 and adult styles range from $25-50!
