Some big changes happen around 5-6 years old – the last of the baby years – reading on their own, grasping time, learning to ride a bike, even those baby teeth start falling out to be replaced by ADULT teeth. In the past 6 months or so my 1st baby has lost 5 of them. The first couple teeth spent nights in a sandwich bag under a pillow (with the tooth-fairy hoping it wouldn’t slide off into the black hole between the bed and wall). I knew I wanted to go a different route, and because Providence wanted to keep her teeth (and the tooth-fairy kindly lets her), I decided to look for a toothsaver that could hold all the missing teeth together and also be placed next to the bed (or under a pillow) with the newest lost tooth awaiting inspection from “Larry the neighborhood fairy” our area’s resident tooth-fairy.

ImagiPLAY‘s Toothie toothsaver was just the cute little guy I was hoping for, made of solid wood he generously stores all those missing teeth under his hat, which easily pops off (but did not fall off even when dropped). He now lives on Providence’s nightstand next to her lamp, can’t you just picture him happily tipping his hat to you – or to Larry – with a wink.
