She {hearts} Sassy Classy Cupcakes

This past weekend was my twins’ 2nd birthday barnyard bash! In years past, I have always made a birthday cake, but this year decided to only offer cupcakes… and it was a huge success! Sassy Classy Cupcakes made the most adorable farm animal fondant toppers for me, and all I did was plop them down on top of the frosted cupcakes.  The kids adored them and I loved how professional looking– yet easy– they were!

In our package of a dozen, we had 2 pigs, 2 horses, 2 cows, 2 chickens, and 2 sheep. I simply dyed the frosting various colors to match the fondant toppers, and then set the animal face on top! But these would have even looked adorable on just plain white cupcakes! They were so cute!

Samuel chose the horse cupcake, while Samantha wanted the pink piggie cupcake.  And, needless to say, they THOROUGHLY enjoyed them at their party!!!
